SAP is the standard means of calculating the energy requirements of a new build house. The same calculation is done when making larger extensions or change of use to residential dwellings. The calculation is required during the design stage of your project and MUST be sent to building control as part of their process. As a SAP assessor, I work with you to help you understand the choices you have to make and will show you any alternatives available. We will quickly produce a SAP assessment for your property. We will even allow some time to discuss any questions you may have about the technology / products recommended or required to meet the targets for each home.
